Cetechs, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterology Physician to join our team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Degree of Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathy or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
  • Experience: 2 years
  • Licensure: Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
  • Must be a US Citizen;
  • Certifications: Shall be a Board Certified /Board Eligible Gastroenterologist by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency;
  • Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.


Duties & Responsibilities: 

The staff Gastroenterologist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
  • Physician should have expertise in Gastroenterology and be able to treat and manage patients who have illnesses related to General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
  • Provide comprehensive care to include:
    • provide clinical Gastroenterology services including procedures, consultations and other related Gastroenterology procedures.
    • provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all Gastroenterology clinical or surgical patients.
    • communicate test results to colleagues and patients.
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned, such as peer reviews, Compensation and Pension evaluations, and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations (OPPE).
  • Coordinate care and/or referrals for patients requiring services not provided at the facility.
  • On call services required.
